About the Crafter

My name is Hannah Williams (you can call me Han) and I'm an Appalachian cryptid from eastern Kentucky. If we've met at a vendor event, hi! You're awesome!

I started cross stitching in 2020 during the pandemic and learned to crochet in 2023. I've always been fascinated with the paranormal and all things weird and have a special affinity for Mothman.

I've been setting up at vendor events since 2023 and my setup and brand have both experienced a ton of growth since then - I know a bunch of y'all may still know my booth as "Han's Craft Tent." This growth has only been possible because of the love and support from friends both new and old and I thank each and every one of you who has supported this adventure in any way.

FAQ

Q: Do you make all of this stuff yourself?

A: Yes! Every product is either crocheted, cross stitched, sewn, or machine-knit by me.

Q: Do you use patterns for your products?

A: Sometimes yes, sometimes no. A lot of the time I'll freehand crochet a pattern for something I have an idea for in my head but no similar patterns exist. I also make simpler cross stitch patterns myself but prefer to buy patterns for more detailed pieces. Original pattern makers are always credited in the listing details when possible.

Q: Is this your only job?

A: Nope! I also co-own a hair salon and work behind the chair 4-5 days a week.

Q: Do you take commissions?

A: Unfortunately at the time I do not. Between working at the salon and preparing for vendor events I run a tight schedule that cannot accomodate getting commission pieces finished in a timely manner.

Q: Will you be set up at _____ event?

A: Upcoming scheduled vendor events can be found under the "Upcoming Events" tab. I'm always looking to book events that would be a good fit, so if you don't see the event in question feel free to send me an email at hanscryptidco@yahoo.com or message on social media!

Q: How do you have any free time?

A: I always joke that I just decided to monetize my free time, because crafting is my relaxing free time hobby. I truly enjoy sitting down with a hook and yarn or needle and thread and putting on a podcast in the background to work to (if you couldn't tell, I'm a big fan of Last Podcast on the Left). I make things that I would want to buy, and coming up with weird new ideas keeps it fun.
